After doing the first Ascent of Link Sar in Pakistan Steve Swenson and Graham Zimmerman visited the hospital on August 27, 2019 and spent 4-5 hours in meeting staff and management of various departments.
Before they left for Islamabad En route to USA they wrote the following comments in the Guest Book
Steve Swenson:
We greatly enjoyed our visit to the Captain Muazzam Ali Shaheed Welfare Hospital. It is a well-run, clean hospital with the capability to serve patients with a variety of needs. The hospital provides a great service to patients in financial need and for those in greatest need the hospital will waive all their fees. Thanks for all the work you are doing for the people of this district.
Graham Zimmerman:
Our visit to the hospital was very enjoyable and informative. The staff was very knowledgeable and kind. We were also very impressed with the facilities + technology + cleanliness.
I feel that it is very important that hospitals like this exist in Pakistan and appreciate all the excellent work going into this hospital.
Big Thanks to all the faculty and admin for the great tour.
